Lying in the southern riverlands between the Blackwater Rush and the Red Fork, Stoney Sept is a walled market town of stone houses and many septs. Its bells are rung for feasts, alarms and funerals alike.
Roads leading towards the westerlands, the Reach and the crownlands meet nearby, which has repeatedly made the town a place armies fight over. Robert Baratheon won a famous battle in its streets during his rebellion.
