Lying in the eastern Vale between Redfort and the coast, Ironoaks is the seat of House Waynwood, an Andal family of long standing. Its lands are well wooded, as the name suggests.
Anya Waynwood, who rules there, is respected among the Vale lords for good sense, and the house has a tradition of taking in wards and squires from allied families. Waynwood knights ride with the Arryns whenever the Vale musters.
