Lying in the middle of the great lake called the God's Eye in the riverlands, this island carries a dense grove of weirwoods, every trunk cut with a watching face. No axe has been laid to them in thousands of years.
The Pact between the First Men and the children of the forest was sworn here at the end of their wars, and the trees were carved to seal it. Green men are said to tend the island still, and fishing boats keep their distance.
