Lying south of Winterfell on the flat, windswept barrowlands, Barrowton grew up beside the Great Barrow, which legend calls the grave of the First King. Grave mounds dot the plain for miles around.

House Dustin rules the town from Barrow Hall, and the Barrow Kings who once claimed the whole of the southern North are their forebears. Trade in horses and grain passes through, making it one of the busier settlements between the Neck and Winterfell.
