Set on the north-eastern shore between White Harbor and the wooded Hornwood lands, Ramsgate is a modest port serving the shipping that works the Bite. Oldcastle stands nearby on the same stretch of coast.

Fishing, salt and coastal traffic make up its trade, carrying northern goods down to White Harbor rather than around the longer sea route. Settlements of this size give the eastern North its handful of anchorages in a region otherwise short of them.
