West of the road through the western hills lie the flooded remains of a castle built above a network of silver mines, most of its halls carved underground. Water fills the shafts and the surface buildings stand empty.
House Reyne grew wealthy and ambitious here until Tywin Lannister ended their rebellion, and the ruin has been left as a warning to anyone tempted to defy Casterly Rock. The song that recalls the affair is sung across Westeros.
