Built on an island where the Torrentine flows into the Summer Sea in the far west of Dorne, Starfall is one of the oldest and most respected seats in the region. The Red Mountains rise behind it.
House Dayne holds it, and the greatest knight of each generation is granted the pale blade Dawn, forged from the heart of a fallen star, along with the title Sword of the Morning. Ser Arthur Dayne bore it in Aerys the Second's Kingsguard.
