On the southern shore of the Bay of Crabs east of the Trident, Maidenpool is a sizeable walled town with a good harbour. Its name comes from the pool where Florian the Fool is said to have first seen Jonquil bathing.
House Mooton rules the town for the Tullys, and its place on the coastal road between King's Landing and the Vale gives it steady trade in cloth, fish and salt. Pilgrims still visit the pool itself.
